Terms & Conditions

Coaching involves a cooperative process where the Client and Coach maintain an ongoing relationship. Through coaching, the Client is supported in developing new behaviours. This collaborative coaching relationship focuses on strengths and looking forward. Together, the Client and Coach create and put into action a coaching plan to help the Client achieve their goals.

The Client and Coach are committed to being fully engaged in the coaching experience. The Client needs to understand that coaching is distinct from therapy, counselling, or consulting.

The Client acknowledges that Ikigai Coach services are not a substitute for therapy and do not diagnose, cure, prevent, or treat mental diseases or disorders.

The Client acknowledges that coaching is not intended to diagnose or treat any physical or mental illness or to be construed as legal, financial, or medical advice.

Your coach may suggest counselling or therapy if they identify during your coaching session that there is a deeper root cause for your issue that you need to address.

The Client acknowledges that coaching is a collaborative process and that while the Coach will provide support, guidance, and expertise, no specific results or outcomes can be guaranteed.

Confidentiality: Privacy is a key concern. The Coach commits to keeping all conversations and information with the Client confidential, as allowed by the law. No personal information will be disclosed to anyone without the explicit permission of the Client. Exceptions could be made if there's an immediate threat of serious harm to the Client or others.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Ikigai Coach and Client agree to fulfil their respective obligations under this Life Coaching Contract, which are crucial for a successful Client-Ikigai Coach relationship. The Ikigai Coach commits to maintaining the ethical standards.

Services Offered: The services provided by the Life Coach include coaching and virtual coaching, which we'll design together with you, the Client. We'll begin with an initial assessment to gain valuable insights that will guide our coaching relationship. This assessment helps us understand your behaviours, explore new possibilities, and establish a baseline of information about you.

Coaching Fees: Fees are due at the beginning of each month and should be paid before coaching services are provided unless a previous agreement has been accepted by the parties involved.

The Coach won't share any information about the Client unless the Client gives written permission. The Coach won't use the Client's name as a reference without the Client's consent.

Mentoring vs. Professional Advice: I am a mentor and coach, not a licensed psychologist, medical professional, or migration lawyer. My services are designed to help you clarify your goals, develop a strategy, and navigate life changes.

No Guarantees: While I am committed to supporting your growth, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, such as securing a job offer, obtaining a visa, or achieving a certain income level.

Personal Responsibility: You acknowledge that you are fully responsible for your own well-being and the choices you make during our mentoring relationship. Any decisions regarding career changes, relocation, or investments are yours alone.
