Hi, I'm Fernandez, but you can call me Five.
An IT Executive who became a life coach.

For me, a career is never just about a job title or a salary; it is just one chapter in a much larger story. I believe that true success isn't measured by how fast you climb the ladder, but by the growth you experience and the joy you find along the way. My mission is to help you build a life where your career supports your happiness, rather than competing with it. Let’s focus on the journey, not just the destination.
Why I became a coach
For years, I chased the traditional definition of success—IT degrees, certifications, yoga, martial arts, and language proficiency tests. I was a high achiever, but I lacked fulfilment.
My life truly began to change after meeting my wife in Hawaii and moving to Australia. I realised that chasing the next promotion or degree wasn't going to fill the void. I needed a different kind of purpose.
While I always had a spiritual side, the pieces didn't fall into place until I connected my love for Japanese culture with life coaching. Following a pivotal trip to Japan and the reflection time allowed by the pandemic, I developed my own approach: Ikigai coaching.
Today, I live in a state of flow. I focus on experiencing life rather than just achieving goals. Whether it’s drinking matcha with my wife, practising Qigong, or watching the kangaroos on our front lawn, I have found joy in the journey. If you want to find that same sense of flow, let’s talk.

The difference you’ll experience

"My purpose is to help you align your life into a natural state of flow, fostering deep connection and clarity so you can navigate challenges with a positive perspective and daily joy."

Misconceptions about coaching

Coaching is for executives or high-level professionals
From career beginnings to major life changes, coaching catalyses growth, regardless of current career level or personal circumstances.

A coach provides answers to my questions
The role of a coach is to foster self-discovery rather than provide answers, empowering the client to trust their own wisdom and make informed decisions.

Coaching is the same as counselling or therapy
Coaching is a relationship built on trust and collaboration, coaching
is not a form of therapy or counselling; refer to the Terms & Conditions for further clarification.
